Resources for use at Home

Bible Apps & Programs– There are numerous digital resources available to help you read and hear God’s word! My personal favorite right now is called “Bible.is”

Luther’s Small Catechism has been used for centuries to teach the basics of Christianity. Now is a great time to pick it up and read through some of these questions. Make it a personal daily habit or use it with your family.

Portals of Prayer have been a staple for many life long Christians! These small daily devotions are a great way to receive consistent spiritual nourishment. St. John’s offers these books for free when they are published (4 times a year).

The Lutheran Hour has a long history of Bringing Christ to the Nations—and the Nations to the Church! They offer daily devotions, podcasts, video based bible studies, and so much more! Also, if you are unable to watch our livestream, tune into KRVN at 10am Sunday mornings!

Seminary classes and lectures are available for free online! If you really want to dive deep into theology, this is the place for you!

These are just a few of the resources we have available at our fingertips! Set aside time each day to learn, and grow as a disciple of Christ!

“It is not simply to be taken for granted that the Christian has the privilege of living among other Christians…between the death of Christ and the Last Day it is only by a gracious anticipation of the last things that Christians are privileged to live in visible fellowship with other Christians. It is by the grace of God that a congregation is permitted to gather visibly in this world to share God’s Word and Sacrament. Not all Christians receive this blessing.” – Life Together, Dietrich Bonhoeffer
